I am a faithful Catholic wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. (a very, very young great-grandmother!) I have been wanting to do more writing, so that is one of the reasons that I am now only working 2 days a week with Georgia Right to Life. There is an unwritten book inside of me, I know and I’m hoping that the Holy Spirit will reveal through this blog what that book is supposed to be.
I know that I love Jesus, the Eucharist, Eucharistic adoration, the sacrament of Reconciliation, Mary and the Rosary, and the liturgy, even the Liturgy of the Hours. I love talking about my faith and teaching my Protest-ant brothers and sisters about Catholicism and our sense of the sacred that seems to be missing from most of the other churches and their “worship.”
I love my pro-life work although now it is mainly administrative in nature and not as activist as I used to be. But I’m still praying outside the abortion mills during 40 Days for Life twice a year and trying to work to see that our local pregnancy resource center has what they need to serve the young women who come to them. I have a special heart for the post-abortive woman because my oldest daughter had an abortion about 23 years ago.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog posts as much as I’m going to enjoy posting them.
God bless you. Jesus loves you!
